The newly renovated Boardwalk Cafe reopened Friday at the Central Mall Boardwalk at Jones Beach.
The old restaurant had closed in 2004.
The new establishment will serve items such as tacos, rice bowls, sandwiches, hamburgers and craft beer.
According to officials, the building has been designed to withstand hurricanes.
