Shoppers across Long Island packed stores and malls Friday to take advantage of the early-morning sales.
Many stores on Long Island opened at 5 a.m. for those die-hard shoppers. Roosevelt Field Mall was bustling early with customers eager to get their hands on the hottest items this season. From making a stuffed animal at Build-a-Bear Workshop to buying a unique flameless candle at Brookstone, the items on shoppers? lists were endless.
Meanwhile, stores at the Tanger Outlet Center in Riverhead opened their doors at midnight. The rain and wind didn?t stop shoppers from battling the crowds for some bargain hunting.
