Temperatures are expected to become frigid across Long Island the next couple of days.
The National Weather Service says an arctic cold is bringing wind chills of 20 below to the northern plains.
The frigid air mass is expected to hit Long Island tomorrow.
Some snow could also be on the way for the area as the week goes on.
News 12 Meteorologist Rich Hoffman says highs will be near 26 degrees tomorrow with wind chills in the teens.
