7h agoA man is recovering from serious injuries after being struck by a car while riding his bike in Copiague.
Police tell News 12 that a 29-year-old was driving a Hyundai Sonata, heading westbound on Dixon Avenue, when the car hit 40-year-old Alexis Espinal-Cepeda, who was on a bicycle and rode across the lane.

It happened at the intersection of Volta Street around 6:20 p.m. Monday.
Espinal-Cepeda was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.
The driver remained at the scene and is not facing any charges at this time.
