A Long Island man from Bethpage will be running a total of 200 miles to raise money for youth hunger and Parkinson's disease.
On Friday morning, Wai Law will begin a 4-mile loop run around Levittown. He will repeat the run 50 times over for the next two days.
'We need to raise more money to do more research because there is no cure at this point. This is a terrible disease, so I want to let affected families know they are not alone," explained Law.
Law says he started running for Parkinson research after the father of a close running partner died of the disease in 2017.
Proceeds will go to raise funds for the Hartman Center for Parkinson's Research at Stony Brook University and Agape Meals for Kids.
So far, Law has raised $15,000 for both charities.
