The Bed Bath & Beyond at the Airport Plaza in Farmingdale is one of 150 stores that the home goods retailer is closing.

The company says sales declined more than 25% over the summer months and it hopes closing the stores will help stabilize its finances.

Bed Bath & Beyond is closing about 20% of its locations.

Earlier this year, the Plainview store also closed.
