A bald eagle is on the mend after apparently being hit by a truck in Suffolk County.

9h agoA bald eagle is on the mend after apparently being hit by a truck in Suffolk County.
A driver spotted the injured animal on Sunrise Highway Thursday just east of William Floyd Parkway.
It suffered a broken wing.
A Suffolk officer and a Department of Environmental Conservation officer brought the eagle to a rehabilitation facility for treatment.
