Backups at shipping ports have caused a season of shortages for plenty of holiday must-haves - including toys and food. The delays are now impacting alcohol.
Liquor store owners say they've been receiving fewer shipments of liquor, wine and beer.
New data shows 11% of alcoholic beverages have been sold out in stores nationwide since the end of November.
Officials say it's not just the alcohol that is in shorter supply, there is also a shortage in glass, cork and necessary materials to bottle.
Liquor store owners also say the shortage has forced them to raise prices by about $1 to $2 per bottle.
