7h agoA West Hempstead man has been convicted of driving drunk, crashing and killing a 15-year-old girl in Woodmere.
Authorities say Arlin Aguilera was speeding in a pickup truck in 2021 when he struck an SUV on Peninsula Boulevard.
His 15-year-old passenger was killed, and the driver of the other vehicle was hurt.
Aguilera faces up to 25 years in prison once he is sentenced in October, according to authorities.
