The Art League of Long Island is rebuilding from storm damage and is hoping to reopen soon.
The nonprofit in Dix Hills was forced to closed on Sept. 29 after most of the building was damaged during a storm.
Classes were relocated so they could raise funds with the help of local partners. All other events were postponed.
The repairs could cause the Art League of Long Island $500,000.
