(AP) - Arson investigators are trying to determine thecause of a fire that severely damaged a suburban Long Island homeon Christmas morning, injuring three people including afirefighter.
Fire officials say a 57-year-old woman in Rockville Centre awokeshortly after 5 a.m. to find her living room on fire. The woman anda 43-year-old man were treated at area hospitals for injuries.
Authorities say two other men, both 28, escaped unharmed.
One firefighter was treated and released from a hospital for aburn to his neck. The fire was put out by about 100 firefightersfrom five area fire departments.
Nassau County's Arson Bomb Squad was investigating.
