A mother and daughter who were house sitting a Babylon home were confronted by armed gunmen during a home invasion Saturday.
According to police, two burglars pried open a side garage door and gained entry to a home on Waters Edge Court around 2 a.m. The masked men tied up the two women with duct tape and put a gun to their heads. They demanded cash and jewelry.
After ransacking the home, the two men left with an unknown amount of cash and jewelry. Police believe the home was targeted. Anyone with information is asked to call Suffolk Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
