A Port Jefferson piano teacher was arrested for sexually abusing another female student. It is the second arrest for sexual abuse in two weeks for the 74-year-old man.

According to police, Nicholas Panos placed his hand on the private parts of an 8-year-old student while giving her lessons in the Three Village Music Shop in East Setauket in February. Panos was arrested initially on February 28 for allegedly inappropriately touching an 11-year-old female student. He was charged with second-degree sexual abuse but later released on bail.

The news of that arrest prompted the 8-year-old to come forward. Police say since the publicity surrounding Panos? initial arrest in February, several students have complained about abuse from the piano teacher.
