A decades old tradition is coming back to the East End tonight.

The Strawberry Festival is back in Mattituck.

This year is the 70th annual festival.

It is hosted by the Mattituck Lions Club.

Tonight’s festivities kick off at 5 p.m.

Big events, like the Strawberry Queen crowning, and strawberry shortcake eating contest, are on Saturday.

Tickets to the festival are $35.
