Amtrak eyes additional repairs at Penn Station

Officials say Long Island Rail Road riders could soon see more repairs at Penn Station on weekdays.
Amtrak wrapped up a summer of repairs Sept. 4, but yesterday Amtrak's chairman said more work needs to be done, according to Newsday.
Amtrak wants to do more work on tracks the first half of next year.
Most repairs could be done at nights and on weekends, but LIRR riders could see some track closures during the week.
