Tow truck driver arraigned on DWI, manslaughter charges for East Garden City accident

A tow truck operator is behind bars following a fatal collision in East Garden City that happened Monday.
James Skow, of Westbury, was arraigned on driving while intoxicated, manslaughter and vehicular manslaughter charges on Tuesday.
Detectives say Skow slammed into an SUV on Stewart Avenue around 4 p.m. Monday.
The truck then hit a van, killing the man behind the wheel.
The 54-year-old woman and 16-year-old boy in the SUV were also hurt.
Skow is due back in court Friday.
