This week is Severe Weather Awareness Week in New York!

As thunderstorm and hurricane season approach it's important to be prepared.

Should emergency strike be sure to have a plan.

It's also recommended to have an emergency kit that'll last at least 10 days.

Things such as flashlights, batteries and fire aid supplies should be inside.
