A generic drug company is closing one of its Long Island facilities and cutting hundreds of jobs.
Amneal Pharmaceuticals will close its Hauppauge facility toward the end of next year, according to Newsday.
The company will eliminate 220 jobs.
The company says some work will be transferred to its factory in south Yaphank.
Some employees in south Yaphank will also lose their jobs, but the company isn't saying how many.
