The American Red Cross hosted its annual Long Island Heroes celebration Thursday at the Cradle of Aviation.
It's a fundraiser that helps raise funds for the nonprofit and honors community members who have made a difference in others' lives.
Kevin Losee and Tony Lagos were honored for saving people from a fire in Glen Cove.
New York Islanders owner Jon Ledecky was also honored for his humanitarian efforts.
The event was emceed by News 12 anchor and reporter Thema Ponton.
