Ambulance crashes in Riverhead
An ambulance transporting a patient was involved in a crash in Riverhead last night. Police say the ambulance collided with a Ford Explorer at the intersection of Northville Turnpike and Middle Road.

An ambulance transporting a patient was involved in a crash in Riverhead last night.
Police say the ambulance collided with a Ford Explorer at the intersection of Northville Turnpike and Middle Road.
A patient from an earlier accident was in the back of the ambulance at the time. The person was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital.
The five ambulance personnel on board at the time of the crash and the SUV driver were treated for minor injuries.
