Morris Houses residents are calling on NYCHA to fix the elevators in their building for good.

They say elevators in the building are never fixed properly and are constantly out of service. "Yeah, I'm scared. And I have a little kids. And sometimes my kids, they just come all the way from the stairs, from 14th floor," a resident tells News 12.

News 12 reached out to NYCHA. It says staff repaired the elevators in the building this past week and will continue to monitor service. It says both elevator cars are currently in service.
