An alleged Bloods gang member was sentenced to 20 years to life in prison for trying to shoot a man.
It happened at a Hempstead apartment building in 2023 when police say 44-year-old Corey Crisp was chasing another man and fired his handgun down a crowded hallway.
The bullet hit two walls, missing more than half a dozen people.
The district attorney says Crisp has a "lengthy violent criminal past dating back decades."
