have released new video of a car wanted in connection with the latest catalytic
converter theft in Suffolk, this time in Holtsville.
In the video, a silver Mercedes rolls up to a Honda Accord
parked on Gazebo Lane.
Police say three men wearing dark clothing got out of the
Mercedes and used a hydraulic lift and cutting tools to steal the catalytic
converter.
The theft
happened Sept. 15 just after 5 a.m.
As News 12 has reported, catalytic converter
thefts in both Suffolk and Nassau have skyrocketed in recent months.
