Some lucky rescue pets were given new homes for the holidays.
The adoption event was held at Americana Manhasset Thursday evening.
It was organized by the Rescue Paw Foundation and London Jewelers. Around 60 dogs and cats from about a dozen rescue groups were available for adoption.
It’s part of Americana Manhasset’s Champions for Charity initiative. Through this Saturday, 25% of full-price pre-tax purchases will go to the charity of the customer’s choice.
