AAA: Record number expected to travel during Fourth of July holiday

A record number of people are expected to hit the roads for the upcoming Fourth of July holiday, according to AAA.
A total of 42.2 million will travel at least 50 miles from home over the holiday weekend.
The number is up 2.9 percent from last year’s record for the holiday.  The vast majority will go by car.
Airline travel is also expected to rise for the eighth straight year.
