Cops say a 93-year-old woman was hit and killed while walking to church in Huntington Station.
Police say Mercedes Pulido was trying to cross New York Avenue around 6:30 a.m. yesterday when she was hit. The incident happened in front of St. Hugh's Church.
The woman was rushed to the hospital where she later died.
Pulido's son tells Newsday she went to church almost every day.
Police impounded the vehicle and are looking for witnesses.
