Police say an 83-year-old woman accidentally pressed her car's accelerator instead of the brake and smashed her car into a Commack store.

The incident occurred around 3:15 p.m. at the Modell's Sporting Goods on Jericho Turnpike.

According to police, the woman hit two parked cars after slamming into the storefront. 

She was taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
