83-year-old woman hospitalized after attack aboard B25 bus in Bed-Stuy

The woman walked up to the 83-year-old and started an argument just before 10 a.m. on April 21, while the bus was stopped at Franklin Avenue and Fulton Street.

An 83-year-old woman was hospitalized after she was attacked aboard a B25 MTA bus in Bed-Stuy. Police are now searching for the woman who they say is responsible.

Officials say the suspect walked up to the 83-year-old and started an argument just before 10 a.m. on April 21, while the bus was stopped at Franklin Avenue and Fulton Street.

Authorities say she shoved the woman in the face before taking off, running westbound on Fulton Street.

EMS took the 83-year-old to The Brooklyn Hospital Center. She sustained minor injuries, according to police.

The suspect was last seen wearing a brown coat, black hat and red gloves.
