Five people are recovering after a crash in Suffolk County.

A car collided with an ambulance that was on its way to Huntington Hospital, Suffolk police say.

The incident happened on Park Avenue on Wednesday afternoon.

The ambulance was transporting a patient when it crashed with a Lexus, according to police.

Both drivers, two passengers, and the patient in the ambulance were taken to the hospital, but are expected to be OK.
