Eight people are displaced after a house burst into flames in Wantagh.
The blaze started around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday on Downhill Lane, fire officials say.
Two people were home at the time of the fire but got out safely.
There were no injuries reported.
The Red Cross was called in to provide assistance to four adults and four kids.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, but it has been deemed non-criminal.
