14ds agoA group of 30 cats was discovered in the woods Tuesday near Exit 31 of the Southern State Parkway.
Animal rescuer John DeBacker told News 12 that the cats had been abandoned.
Video of the scene shows many of those animals inside crates.
DeBacker says they will be taken to an animal shelter in Oyster Bay.
