Police are searching for three people who tried to steal a man’s car keys in Cedarhurst on Monday night.
According to police, the 68-year-old victim parked his car and walking on Bayview Avenue when he was approached by two men and a woman.
News 12 has been told they demanded the man’s keys and when he refused, the woman started striking him in the back of the head multiple times.
The victim started yelling for help and all three suspects ran away on Monroe Street.
The victim refused medical attention.
