3 Brooklyn men arrested in Roslyn Heights burglary

According to detectives, officers responded to a call on March 26 for a burglary in progress at the gas station located at 1 Powerhouse Road.

Three Brooklyn men have been arrested for burglarizing a gas station in Roslyn Heights on Thursday.

According to detectives, officers responded to a call at 1:38 a.m. for a burglary in progress at the gas station located at 1 Powerhouse Road.

Officials say the three men broke a glass door, entered the business and then fled from the scene with a cash register.

Edwin Rodriguez, 20, William Taft, 19, and Shamel Stilley, 24 are charged with two counts of Burglary 3rd Degree.

Rodriguez is additionally charged with possession of burglar tools.

Upon further investigation, detectives revealed that the three men also pried open the rear door of Holiday Farms on Roslyn Road, attempted to open a cash register, and fled without any proceeds.
