The Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County hosted on Saturday its second annual Sci-Fi Mini Convention in Hicksville.
Iconic heroes and villains invaded Long Island for a special fandom event at Levittown Hall.
Members of the 501st Legion's Empire City Garrison and other local organizations came out to raise money for the association.
The event also featured cosplayers, games and Jedi training for people who wanted to learn the ways of the Force.
"I also happen to work for the Cerebral Palsy Association, and this was just the perfect marriage of bringing those two groups together, pop fandom and charity work, and trying to raise some money for a great cause," said Chris Fehan.
The charity event was free of charge.
