Lt. Gov. Dale Caldwell Resigns After Sexual Harassment allegations and Ethics Violations Probe
Scandal rocked the State House this week as New Jersey Lt. Gov. Dale Caldwell resigned after a months-long internal investigation into allegations of sexual harassment and ethics violations.
The investigation found credible evidence of sexual harassment involving a female staffer and her friend.
It also found violations of state ethics rules in that Caldwell repeatedly tried to secure a promotion for a girlfriend.
The findings were enough to trigger an ultimatum from Gov. Mikie Sherrill.
While Caldwell's lawyers vehemently denied the claims in the report, he ultimately did resign.

Poll Workers Wanted
New Jersey is looking for poll workers for the November election. The state says workers will earn $300 on Election Day or $21 to $43 an hour during early voting.
Residents interested in registering must be at least 16 and adults must be registered to vote in their home county.
Early voting begins Oct. 24.
