Two people were shot inside an Allerton laundromat Monday night, police say.
The incident happened at around 7:15 p.m. inside the laundromat at 760 Astor Ave.
Police say a 37-year-old woman and a 17-year-old male were both shot in the leg.
Exclusive video shared with News 12 shows the chaos that broke out inside the business moments after the gunfire. Neighbors can be heard screaming for help, as an officer and a man help a victim laying near a trail of blood.
Police sources tell News 12 the shooting is believed to be a targeted attack, but it is unclear who was the intended victim.
Sources also say the shooting was carried out by a group of men in their 20s. They took off running down Holland Ave. after firing the bullets.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation continues to find the gunmen.
