Students from the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine helped provide dental care to children in lower-income families.
The effort is called the "Brighter Futures Dental Program," an initiative by Dr. Mary Beth Giacona.
Rutgers has the only dental school in the state, and they are helping create lasting impacts for many families who can’t afford dental assistance.
The students recently visited all seven of the elementary schools in Franklin Township, where they served 150 kids in total.
Thanks to this initiative, they are making New Jersey proud one smile at a time.
