News 12 is proud to announce that it has been honored with two 2026 National Edward R. Murrow Awards.

The Edward R. Murrow Awards are given by the Radio and Television Digital News Association and is one of the most prestigious honors in journalism.

The two winners are:

• Investigative Reporting for Trafficking in the Tri-State: Rooms Without Rescue from the Turn to Tara team, including Audrey Gruber, Tara Rosenblum, Jean Salzarulo, Alan Flamenhaft, Lee Danuff and Karen Rebecchi.

• Sports Reporting for Long Live Marcus Rogers from Marissa Alter and Jim Mennino.
