A car crash knocked down a utility pole Friday afternoon in Hicksville.
Fire officials confirm that the accident occurred around 2:45 p.m. on East Barclays Street.

Photos of the aftermath show the pole strewn across the road, with wires on top of the car. PSEG was called to fix the wires at the scene.
The cause of the crash was not immediately clear. However, police say no criminality is suspected.
