Suspect in custody in shooting of woman outside Coney Island NYCHA building
Police say the shooting took place in the confines of Police Service Area 1, in the courtyard area outside of the building facing West 23rd Street and Neptune.

A man is in custody with charges pending after a broad daylight shooting that left a 49-year-old woman with multiple gunshot wounds outside of the Carey Gardens homes in Coney Island.
Police say the shooting took place in the confines of Police Service Area 1, in the courtyard area outside of the building facing West 23rd Street and Neptune.
They say the woman was shot multiple times in the leg.
The victim is said to be in stable condition at Lutheran Hospital.
