FORECAST
It was definitely a sticky start out there today, and a few of you probably ran into some passing showers. The good news is that the threat of thunderstorms is going to keep fading as we head into the evening. Just a heads up, though - we could still see some random gusty winds pushing close to 40 mph!
For the rest of this afternoon and evening, expect it to stay warm, humid and pretty windy. Even if you don't get a thunderstorm, those southwest winds could still gust up to 30 mph. By tonight, the clouds will start to break up a bit, leaving us with partly cloudy skies and a lingering breeze.
Friday is looking much more comfortable. Skies will gradually clear out, the humidity is finally going to drop, and the winds will start to behave. Plus, afternoon highs will be right back down to where they should be for this time of year with beautiful weather lasting through the weekend! Father's Day is Sunday, along with the start of the summer season! Rain chances return for Monday.
