A couple says they are lucky to be alive after a powerful storm sent a large tree crashing onto their property in Little Falls.

The damage happened Saturday on Dewey Avenue when a tree from a neighboring property fell, hitting cars and structures.

Gail and Ed Sliker say the tree destroyed their vehicles, including a motorcycle, and damaged their garage, sunroom and shed.

The couple says they had concerns about the tree before the storm and had documented it leaning toward their property.

They believe action should have been taken before it fell.

No injuries were reported, but the damage is extensive.
