Hempstead man arrested during police investigation into fatal overdose

An 18-year-old library tutor has been arrested, accused of sexually abusing a 7-year-old girl at a library.

Police say Taylor Lindberg, of Port Washington, had unwanted sexual contact with the girl while inside the Port Washington Library.

The abuse happened on the evenings of May 11 and May 18.

He was arrested Tuesday and arraigned Wednesday morning.

Lindberg is charged with three counts of sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.

Police are asking anyone who may have been a victim to contact the Nassau County Special Victims Squad at 516-573-4022.
