Temperatures will gradually warm up from frosty levels this morning all across the Hudson Valley.
There is barely a breeze out, and under clear skies, some areas have seen some frost develop. Due to the lack of wind, there isn't a wind chill to factor in.
But, later today, there will be some breezy winds across the region, especially north of I-84. There is a concern for fires to start or spread in Dutchess, Ulster & Sullivan counties and a Red Flag Warning is in effect from noon to 6 p.m. Today.
Temperatures warm up towards pleasant, May-like levels for Friday and it is the Pick of the Week! There will be mostly sunny skies through the day, but there will be a late evening to overnight shower chance as a weak front moves through.
The weekend will be a dry one with temps running above average. For early next week though, get ready to break out the shorts and short sleeves (if you haven't done so already that is). A touch of June-like warmth will move in for the first half of next week with temps running into the 80s!
