Temperatures once again take a step back tonight. Sub-freezing temperatures in the 20s and low 30s with patchy frost greeting us Thursday morning.
Luckily the winds will remain light and wind chills won't really be much of a factor for tonight and Thursday.
Bring plants inside if you have any outside. The growing season has not officially started here yet.
Also, remember to be extra careful with open flames outside. This time of year is known as brush fire season.
Starting Friday, warmer, more spring-like air will be flowing up the East Coast from the Carolinas. This surge of warmer air will make our temperatures climb into the 60s but there is also a cold front in the area.
The front will provide more clouds later Friday and a slight chance of light showers. Not much moisture will be present, so most will stay dry.
The weekend looks dry, and then an even bigger warm-up sets up briefly for early next week.
