1 person dead, 30 injured following shipyard explosion on Staten Island

A crash in Nesconset left three people trapped after one vehicle overturned at Nesconset Highway and Browns Road Sunday night.

The Nesconset Fire Department said two people were pulled from the overturned vehicle.

Crews also used hydraulic rescue tools to free a person trapped in the other car.

All three were taken to the hospital for treatment.
