4 injured in Southern State Parkway car crash

North Merrick Fire Department says a driver lost control on the eastbound lanes, ran up an embankment, cleared the guard rail and jumped on to Meadowbrook Road.

Four people were injured in a crash Sunday on the Southern State Parkway.

North Merrick Fire Department says a driver lost control on the eastbound lanes, ran up an embankment, cleared the guard rail and jumped on to Meadowbrook Road.

The department says four people were evaluated for injuries that are not considered life-threatening. Three of them were hospitalized.
