Long Islanders can help feed their neighbors in need. PSEG Long Island is holding another Power to Feed food collection initiative amid Hunger Action Month.

The annual food drive is at Stop & Shop on Jericho Turnpike in Woodbury from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is a joint effort between PSEG Long Island and Island Harvest. They are collecting household items, pet food, and nonperishables. Island Harvest estimates every dollar donated supports two meals.

The next Power to Feed food drive is Sept. 19. It will be held at the Stop & Shop on Route 109 in West Babylon.
