Police say three police officers were assaulted by a man in North Massapequa.

According to police, the officers responded to a call for a disturbance on Mohawk Drive on Wednesday.

Police say 24-year-old Stephen Reill resisted arrested and injured the officers.

The officers were hospitalized but are expected to recover.
