The man accused in a Central Islip hit-and-run earlier this month has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident with property damage, according to police.

Officials say Eric Jordan fled the scene after striking a curb, fence and deck in front of a home on Chestnut Street.

Police apprehended the 26-year-old Brentwood resident on Friday.
